We ship all orders via FedEx. Orders placed on the weekends will not begin
processing until the next business day, so please take this into
consideration when specifying expedited shipping request. Most orders are
shipped within 24 Hours, but delays may occur from time to time.
Packaging of you order does not begin until we have received full payment.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Reserve holidays.
Obvious damage to package(s) must be noted by the customer at the time of
receipt and reported immediately to the shipper. Hidden damage must be
reported to carrier immediately. In both cases, damages are to be settled
between the customer and the carrier. We will assist the customer if and
when necessary. Our errors, i.e., miss-shipment, etc., will be handled
immediately after being brought to our attention.
Express Shipping: Orders for in-stock items eligible for same day shipping
must be received before 3pm PST and may be subject to a delay for payment
processing. Orders received after 3pm PST will ship the following business
day.
Standard Shipping: Orders without Express shipping will ship via FedEx
ground. Orders received by 3pm PST are normally shipped the following
business day.
ECU Shipping: Orders for ECU upgrades are treated with special attention.
Orders are normally processed the same day of our receipt.
Please confirm your shipment with WORKS before sending an ECU as we schedule
the receipt of ECUs.
Special Considerations: Shipping charges for foreign orders will include a
surcharge based on country/destination. Orders shipped to California will be
charged state sales tax. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto
Rico: Orders from these locations can be only be shipped by air, so
additional charges may apply.
Returns:
Always retain your receipt. All returns must be within 30 days. The
item(s) must be in like new sellable condition. A return authorization
(R.A.) number must be obtained by calling us at 415.641.9675. Please include
a copy of the receipt in the box and clearly mark the RA number on the
outside of the box.
A 20% handling and restocking fee will be assessed for each item returned
unless you have made other arrangements with WORKS Management.
100% store credit will be allowed on most in stock returns. Special Orders
require a 50% deposit, which is non-refundable. All return shipments must be
prepaid. Please note that electrical items, media material (i.e. books,
DVDs, video tapes) personalized, or Special Order items are non-returnable
or refundable. Sales of items that require a core exchange are final and
cannot be returned.
